Pro-Tech ® Bearing Isolator Seals
Replace the oil seals in your
pump with Pro-Tech® Bearing Isolator seals.
WHY?
Because your pumps have to be
operated under corrosive conditions, the improved,
proprietary, filled Teflon® material used
in Pro-Tech® seals can withstand any corrosive
environment.
Because Viton® O-Rings are
used within the Pro-Tech® seal for excellent
resistance to chemicals. Two O-Rings are furnished
with each seal, one is mounted on the stator
OD and the other on the rotor ID.
Because absolute dimensional stability
is achieved through an improved design. Problems
created by thermal cycling which causes some
seals to lose dimensional stability and rotate
in the housing have been eliminated. This new
design will not rotate from the installed position
or deform.
Because the non-contacting Pro-Tech®
design means virtually infinite life as there
is nothing to wear out. Reduced bearing operating
temperature results from this non-contacting
design since there is no friction and no drag
to generate heat.
Because no contaminants can enter
the bearing frame due to the centrifugal force
generated by the Pro-Tech® seal, thus preventing
premature bearing failure due to lubricant contamination.
Use of a Pro-Tech® seal allows plugging
of the old breather location, eliminating another
source of contamination. The bearing frame will
now breathe through the Pro-Tech® seal.
Because the Pro-Tech® seal
eliminates oil leaks when the oil sump is properly
filled.
And, because Pro-Tech Bearing
Isolator seals are completely interchangeable
with existing lip seals.
