P-80 RUBBER LUBRICANT

P-80 is a specially formulated liquid that lubricates rubber
so it is easy to install, remove, or otherwise manipulate.
The lubricity it provides is unsurpassed by other commercial products or home-grown solutions in common use
(soap suds, kerosene, etc.)

P-80's unique feature is its ability to provide lubrication
that is only temporary. Once the work involving the rubber
is complete, P-80 disappears and the surfaces return to their original condition. There is no residual greasiness and the lubricity will not return even in the presence of moisture.
This makes P-80 suitable for use where other lubricants,
such as silicones, are unacceptable.

Use P-80 on the rubber parts of mechanical seals to ease installation, but be careful not to get it on the seal faces.

P-80 may also be used to aid the fitting of o-rings and other rubber parts.

P-80 THIX is a second version that extends P-80's range of applications.  THIX is more viscous than the standard version which allows it to remain where applied without dripping, puddling, or running in areas where the lubricant is not wanted.
