MECHANICAL SEAL RECONDITIONING

Seal Distributors has been reconditioning mechanical pump seals for over 20 years.  Our reconditioning program is designed to offer our customers a high quality alternative to buying new OEM seals.

We know that reconditioned seal quality is of the utmost importance.  That is why we maintain superior workmanship and use the highest quality materials when restoring a mechanical seal.

When you purchase a reconditioned seal from Seal Distributors, the faces will have been ground, lapped and polished to a flatness of one light band, new o-rings will have been installed, and the shell assembly will have been throughly cleaned and inspected, and where necessary, new components provided.

Upon receipt of your old seals, we will inspect and evaluate them.  We will then contact you with a price for reconditioning and a delivery date.

We maintain a selection of reconditioned seals in stock, ready for immediate exchange and shipment.

O-RING KITS:  We can supply a kit of new o-rings for most popular pumps.

CORE EXCHANGE:  Good rebuildable cores (old seals) are required to be exchanged for reconditioned seals.  (Certain seals are also available for outright sale without core exchange.)

RECONDITIONING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE FOR:  ABS, Borg-Warner, Davis EMU, Durametallic, Flygt, Homa, John Crane, EG&G Sealol, and others.
